Pernod Ricard CFO Says No Big US Comeback Yet

Pernod Ricard sees only slight improvements in US sales and isn’t expecting a material bounce back soon.

Garry says:

They’re sipping hope, not champagne.

I was reading that Pernod Ricard’s CFO said the US market is still coughing up dust — slight improvements, yes, but no big bounce back on the horizon.

He didn’t say it like a man who just lost his wallet. He said it like a man who’s seen wallets vanish in Bangkok, Mumbai, and Oakland — and learned not to count on finding them.

The company is holding steady, not rushing to open another bar, not hiring a new marketing guru, not whispering ‘Karma’ into a bottle of Chivas. Just watching. Waiting. Maybe drinking tea instead of scotch for now.
